Whirlpool ATR0952RPP0 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that decides if and when the air is actually warm enough for the blower to be activated. The main reason limit switches are made is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
What to see if the limit switch most likely has a need to be replaced?
- The HVAC system is unable to start or run longer than 10 minutes
- The Whirlpool system begins to runs spotty on a regular basis
