Whirlpool ATR0952SPP0 Limit Switch
The limit switch contains a sensor in the air handler that decides when the heated air is actually warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is not warm enough then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Signs of a laboring critical limit switch
- The Whirlpool system begins to initiate and then stops on more than one occasion
- The HVAC system will not begin the ignition sequence or run well longer that five minutes
