Whirlpool ATR1255CPP0 Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor is responsible for keeping the compressor cool, when heat is removed from the house, that heat must be dispersed in order to keep things cool. Be sure you find one with the same voltage as well as amps as it is on the current motor. The motor can be replaced without the necessity of buying a fan blade too, this will make it a lot easier to install and will not drain your bank account.
Hints your Whirlpool fan motor will eventually need to be replaced
- The Whirlpool cooling motor does not move at all
- The compressor cooling motor catches fire or shorts out when it is spinning
- An ugly rubbing noise when the motor is turning
