Whirlpool ATR1555RPP0 Limit Switch
Limit switches exist because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch is a switch in the air handler that decides when the air is actually warm enough to activate the main blower.
What warnings should I watch out for to know if my limit switch is almost dead?
- The whole system begins to shut down unexpectedly frequently
- The HVAC system will not even start or run longer than 30 seconds
