Whynter ARC-10WB Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the heat exchanger that determines when the heated air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. Limit switches were created due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Major symptoms of an ineffective critical limit switch
- The Whynter system is starting to stop suddenly more than once
- Your Whynter system refuses to start or will not stay running longer than 30 seconds
