Whynter ARC-12SDH Flame Sensor
The flame sensor is only used on furnaces that burn gas and is one that can reliably detect the proper flame when the system starts. For obvious reasons, if the flame sensor gets set off the entire HVAC system will stop for as long as it takes to remedy the problem.
