Whynter ARC-12SDH Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch in the heat exchanger that can determine when the heated air is actually warm enough for the air to begin normal home circulation. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the air never warms up then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
What are the signs that the main limit switch is in need of a replacement?
- The system is beginning to behave erratically more than once
- System will not begin the ignition sequence nor will it stay running for any length of time
