Whynter ARC-143MX Expansion Valve
Pretty much every air conditioning system has an expansion valve that lets the coolant to expand into its normal low-pressure vapor form from a high pressure liquid state. A split-system AC unit could not cool the air if it was deprived of a functioning expansion valve.
