Whynter ARC-143MX Limit Switch
The reason limit switches exist is due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch has a sensor in the heating area that decides if and when the air is warmed to a point that it can be circulated throughout the house.
Key indicators that my critical limit switch is in need of a replacement?
- The whole system starts to ramp up but then stops time after time
- The heating and AC system will not even start or continue to run for any significant length if time
